We need you!

Launched and powered by the Community Television for the Southern Berkshires (CTSB)—your local public access station since 1989—WGSL-LP continues our mission of giving local voices a place to be heard.
Every ten years, the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) opens an application filing window for LP-FM licenses. Two years ago, the Community Television for the Southern Berkshires (CTSB)applied for our community. And we got one!Community radio stations usually have hyper-local programming provided by the local community or volunteers.
This is commercial free, community based and all yours.

We are forming a Programming Committee. PLEASE reach out if you’re interested in being on that committee! We need you and your input for our community.
As one community radio station manager told us during a time when we were just beginning to build WGSL, “dream big, start small”.
This is a new format for CTSB, but not a new idea. We are airing the audio from our most popular tv playlists (Steel Home, Solo Creatives, Stockbridge Updates).
We have filled the schedule with music and programming we believe you will love to hear; Tanglewood Alums (music from former Popular Artist Series musicians at Tanglewood), Jazz (with most of the musicians who taught and performed in the 1950’s at the Lenox School of Jazz), and so much more.

If you have an idea for a new show, or want to share your existing one, please reach out.
We will walk you through the process of getting your music, your story, your podcast on the airwaves. Whether you’ve had a show for years or you’ve never picked up a microphone, we can help. We promise.

Why, yes we do! We use the Rodecaster Pro II to record, four mics in our soundproof podcasting room and the ability to also record guests who would be virtual.
It’s free to all members.
You may also rent out our podcasting room for your own personal projects. Feel free to inquire about renting.
